Mammograms – Latest Research Puts End To The Debate!

Mammograms cause cancer!  No kidding??

Well it finally looks like the Medical profession are going to have to sit up and take notice, as the latest research PROVES what many of us have been shouting about for years now.

One of the largest and most meticulous studies of mammography ever done, involving 90,000 women and lasting a quarter-century, has added powerful new doubts about the value of the screening test for women of any age.  The results published in the British Journal of Medicine put an end to the ongoing debate about these ineffective machines and hopefully will allow women more choice and safer testing.

In the UK the University Hospital in Birmingham is already recommending women at high risk to choose MRI over mammograms, so the ball is rolling (see below).

Any of you who are regular readers of this blog know I have refused Mammograms for the past 10 years, despite stern opposition from my Cancer Doctors.  So for me, this news makes me want to take a printed copy of this report and stick in under their noses with a smug smile and an ” I told you so!

I only hope that NOW, you will also spread this news far and wide; making sure every women you know is aware that Mammograms are NOT Effective but the ARE dangerous and that we have other options.

Thermography is one but I personally preferre the LATEST in Breast Cancer Screening technology ABUS (Automated Breast Ultra Sound). It is harmless and more accurate than even MRI….for more on this read…… & if in the Toronto area you might want to check this out.

This research really is some of the best news for women in a LONG time. Too many have suffered and too few saved because of this dated Technology.

I however will not be happy until every last Mammography Machine is dismantled and dumped!!

See you on the Bright Side 🙂
